Weather Warnings – Flood Warning – Wyong/Tuggerah Lake

An average of 100 millimetres of rain has fallen during the past 12 hours to
6pm this evening [12/06/2010].

This rain is expected to cause minor flooding at Tuggerah Lake tomorrow
morning.

Further rain is forecast for the next couple of days, and at this stage it is
not possible to predict the peak lake levels because of uncertainty over how
much more rain will fall. The situation is being closely monitored and revised
predictions will be issued if necessary.

Predicted River Heights/Flows:

Tuggerah Lake – Exceed 1.0 metres around 11am Monday with minor flooding.
