A warning from a ‘Concerned Resident’ appeared in the 4th March edition of the Community News that included:
“Be on the look out in the local area for a small Blue Suzuki car, possible rego starting ANZ or ANX; occupants believed to be reconnoitring properties in the area with a view to breaking in. Vehicle may have 3 passengers, perhaps 1 woman and 2 men.
It was also suggested that they may also be working their way through the phone book and calling to see if and when places are vacant. They may be working as a team and using 2 way radios/CB to communicate.”
