Informal: Burglaries Reported in Somersby Area

MACS received informal reports today about two recent incidents in the Somersby area.  One involved a car stolen from a property in the Keighley Avenue/Elwins Road area and the other involved tools and equipment taken from a workshop shed in Dog Trap Road.

Details are sketchy but it is suggested that it would be wise to take extra precautions and be on the lookout for any suspicious activity.

As always, all incidents of malicious damage, drugs, traffic, break and enter matters or otherwise should be reported  to the police but please also let MACS know so that other MACS subscribers can be aware..

1 Response to Informal: Burglaries Reported in Somersby Area

Information on Dogtrap Road burglary is that the owners were home when the robbery occurred, possibly asleep, power was cut to the workshop maybe assuming there was security cameras or lights, the things taken were specialized, obviously people knew what they wanted and were taken up through the fence to the road.
