The NSW Rural Fire Service plans to conduct a hazard reduction burn starting today (Friday) and continuing across the weekend in Yarramalong and Kulnura.

The plan is to carry out minor, preliminary burning today, which would generate low levels of smoke from 10am to 4pm.

The burn would continue in earnest over Saturday, September 2, through to Sunday, September 3.

The burn will target 498 hectares of bushland between Bunning Creek Road, Yarramalong, and Hunts Road, Kulnura.

Forecasted winds are likely to blow smoke towards the Yarramalong Valley.

Missing Cat

Update:  A small black cat was spotted heading into the bushland behind Agrana on Hallards Rd, near the intersection with Wisemans Ferry Rd, Fri evening last week.
————————————————————————————————-
If seen please let her owners know (and no she is not currently wearing a bandage)https://www.facebook.com/giselle.lindley – 0400 414 641
Hoping someone in the Valley or on the Mountain may have seen our gorgeous black cat, Skittles who has been missing for a week now. She is black, quite petite and microchipped. Has a scar under her front arm from recent run in with a collar. Please let us know if anyone spots her.
Maybe in the Wisemans Ferry Road area near the crossroads as a black cat was spotted walking alongside the road on Thursday morning  16 Feb around 9.30am.
