Trio charged over break-ins

Three men will face Gosford local court today, charged over a series of break-ins across the Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Sydney regions.

They found two men sitting in the car and say they had two-way radios.

Police then searched the car, allegedly seizing a large amount of stolen property, two firearms, drugs, credit cards and cash.

While the two men, aged 24 and 32, were being questioned at Gosford police station, police will allege a third man, 27, was in the process of committing a break-in at a house in Bloodtree Road.

All three were charged with a total of 23 offences and refused bail.
