Another report from Somersby about suspicious activity, this time around Sylvesters Road again.
A woman was at home and her car happened to be out of sight, presumably giving the impression the house was unoccupied at the time.
A ute towing a trailer pulled into the driveway and two young European looking men got out and started to look around. When challenged, they looked nonplussed and one of them then asked if she had any scrap metal she wanted to get rid of. She replied ‘no’ and they couldn’t leave fast enough.
Unfortunately, the trailer obscured the number plate of the towing vehicle.

The same thing happened at Il Cadore Equestrian Centre in Konda Road. They then went over to the house across the road who were having a clean-up at the time and offered to take the scrap metal which they did.
So they were probably legit, the description of the guys and the ute with a green mesh trailer are exactly the same.

One of the tenants at Il Cadore reported this morning (Fri 14/8) that when he went to get in his car at 6am the door was open and it appeared someone had gone through his car. The car is parked right outside his front door, nothing was missing .
Maybe a warning to people to lock up!
