Severe Thunderstorm Warning: Flash Flooding

The Bureau of Meteorology warns that, at 9:05 am, severe thunderstorms were detected on weather radar near Palm Beach and waters off Palm Beach. They are forecast to affect Woy Woy, Brooklyn and Umina by 9:35 am and Calga, Gosford and Terrigal by 10:05 am.

Very heavy rainfall and flash flooding are likely.

    I’m wondering how would I get historical flooding details Just moved to Ourimbah and wondering how high the water comes up at Burns rd How would I get this information

      We don’t know a specific answer and you are slightly outside the MACS Area, but you might like to have a look at this page on the SES website and also this page on the Wyong Shire Council website.

      Both these organisations may be able to provide you with more information and hopefully you will receive a warning in plenty of time if you are under threat.
